Although, it's rumored to be a successor of the Agera R, which also was launched in the 2011 at the same event.

This new Agera RS is supposed to be placed between the 1,200 hp powered Agera R and the monstrous One:1 with 1342 hp power, which was launched last year and is known as the most-powerful road-legal runabout in the world. Also, the car could inherit many features cosmetic and mechanical from its One:1 sibling.

There also are the possibilities that it might be another attempt from the Koenigsegg to enter the Racing Arena at which it failed once with its CCGT car. Nevertheless, it could be the track-oriented version of a road-legal car like Ferrari FXXK and McLaren P1 GTR as well. Still, the final information will be given the by company only at the time of its launch.
