KTM Freeride E-SM @ INTERMOT 2014

KTM is offering its three new Freeride Supermoto namely, E-SM, E-XC and E-SX at the INTERMOT show 2014 in Cologne, Germany. Out of these three models, recently, the company has launched the E-XC in the last month, 20th September 2014 in Saalbach, Austria. Freeride E-SM is the latest model of the KTM, which the company was planning to bring the bike in INTERMOT 2014 show. Now, the Freeride E-SM is here in Cologne.

Alike the other two models, the E-SM is comes fitted with a liquid-cooled permanent magnet AC electric motor, which generates a smooth and linear power. The new Freeride E-SM will send the power under the 22HP and make much torque of 42NM. The manufacturer has made this bike with least and lightweight objects such as the bike gets 110kg of weight that will give promises performance in city traffics.

The bike is featured with a standard components such as tyres, wheels, street specific suspension and a bigger disc brakes with upgraded calipers. Moreover, The Freeride E-XC and E-SX gets the off-road wheels, while the Freeride E-SM comes with on-road tyres and taller gearing. It has a 2.6 KWh li-ion battery, which is located beneath the seat and the interesting thing is that it can be easily swapped out. Thus, it gets fully charged in just 80 minutes and up to 80% in 50 minutes. Moreover, the only thing is different in the bikes is graphics, all the three models come with different stickers.
