KTM RC 250 Caught on Two-Dimensions While Testing in India

The heartbeat of young generation KTM bikes, the Austrian bike maker has already updated its range of Duke and RC motorcycle early this year. As like the introduction of new Duke 250, the manufacturer is all set to introduce the faired trim of the same variant the RC250 soon. Also, the spied event of RC250 on the old Pune-Mumbai highway consolidates the same.

The test mule was completely undisguised as there was no camouflage covering to hide the identity of the bike. The spy images are revealing a production-ready model which could hit the dealerships anytime soon. However, there is no official information about the launch of this new comer.

Reportedly, it has known that the top end technical aspects such as the anti-lock braking system and ride-by-wire technology like Duke 250 will not be the part of RC’s fitments.

Moreover, the spy images unveil that the bike could feature most of its cycle parts from elder sibling KTM RC390. Also, the new paint scheme on the 2018 RC 250 differentiates it from its siblings.

Powering for the KTM RC250 will come from the same 248.8cc, single-cylinder engine that performs propelling duties on Duke 250. With the mated gearbox transmission, the mill is able to generate the peak power of 30.87 bhp along with 24 Nm of torque.

In India, post-launch at the price sticker near about INR 2.10 lakhs, the KTM RC250 will compete with the forthcoming TVS Akula (Apache RR 310S) in the market.
