Mahindra is all set to launch the Anniversary Edition of its compact SUV, KUV100 in the following weeks. Though, the details of the model have already been surfaced online in a leaked brochure. And it seems that this time Mahindra turned up to offers better value to their customers against the money paid for.
Launched back in January 2016, Mahindra KUV100 received many anticipations than it was expected and hence, it overwhelmed the demands. Just after the one month of its launch, it crossed the 21,000 milestones of bookings. For the initial months, the waiting period of the car was extended to 4 months.

Mahindra had also boosted the production capacity of the plant from 9,000 to 12,000 units to meet the increased demands and cut the waiting period. After all, the KUV100 was the best selling Mahindra vehicle although, for a month, it beats the brand's flagship Bolero in terms of the sales!
Done with the history of the product, now take a look at the recent sales. In the past few months, Mahindra noted a continuous drop-down in the sales of KUV100. And now when the segment popular, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza also on much on demand, it would be real tough for the KUV100 to make a comeback.
Keeping in mind the same, the homegrown carmaker has decided to update its compact SUV with the anniversary edition that will come with various added features and new sporty color themes.

It’s clearly seen on the brochure that new edition of KUV100 boasts of a Flamboyant Red or Dazzling Silver exterior shade, with the black colored roof. The 15-inches ‘Dynamic design alloy wheels further enhance the sporty spirit of the car. Interior as well dipped in the sporty black theme all around the cabin.
Moreover, the carmaker will also offer four new styling kits to make your KUV more personalise, named - Sporty exterior kit, Sporty interior kit, Premium exterior kit, Premium interior kit.

Pravin Shah, Chief Executive, Mahindra said in an interview with ET Auto, “the philosophy of Mahindra always was to offer value of Rs 100 at Rs 50. As part of this philosophy, the SUV makers have decided to offer fresh upgrades and updates to the KUV100 in the form of dual colour tones, larger alloy wheels and new accessories.”
Currently, Mahindra KUV100 is available in both petrol and diesel powertrains and in total seven variants, out of them four trims are standard named K2, K4, K6 and K8, and three are sub trims, K2+, K4+ and K6+. The compact SUV ranges between INR 4.71 Lakh and INR 6.37 Lakh for the petrol powered variants, while the diesel version starts from INR 5.65 Lakh and goes up to INR 7.30 Lakh.
