Mahindra Launches KUV100 Xplorer Edition in India

Mahindra has launched the Xplorer Edition of KUV100. Carrying the extra price Rs 50,000 over the regular Mahindra KUV100 model, which costs in the range of INR 5.01-7.81 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

Having rugged appearance, Xplorer edition is the form of body kits upgrade onto the exterior level while there is no changes have been witnessed inside the new model. Noteworthy changes are the revamped front and rear bumper, Xplorer logo on headlamp cluster, gloss black finished the roof and the fitted silver plastic cladded roof rails over it. The faux air intakes availability on both sides of the hoods for cooling is also present there.

Moreover, it gets the rear windshield and the roof spoiler, taillights surrounded with black plastic body cladding, integrated split brake light, etc. While the interior holds black leather seat covers having the orange stitching on them to match up the vehicle contrast.

The Xplorer edition under the hood borrowed the same engine option of 1.2-liter G80 petrol engine which churns out the 82 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque. The other 1.2-liter diesel unit produces 77 bhp power and 115 Nm torque. On transmission front, the KUV100 Xplorer gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It offers an ARAI-certified healthy fuel economy of 18.15 km/l in petrol and 25.32 km/l in diesel variant.
