Mahindra Launches Limited Edition of Gusto at Rs. 49,350/-

Mahindra Two Wheelers has launched the Special Edition of Gusto in the domestic market. Gusto, that was introduced back in 2013, is the most successful automatic scooter till the date which is known for its adorable features that have ever been seen in the other two wheelers in this category. To keeping its existence in the Indian two-wheeler market, the company has launched the Special Edition and also offering a dynamic scheme to lure the buyers as well. The new Mahindra Gusto comes in some cosmetic improvement in extent and the company is offering free insurance to the buyers.

The Special Edition is being offered only in the VX trim at Rs. 49,350/-, whereas, the regular VX variant is available at the Rs. 48,850/- (Ex. Showroom Delhi). The Special Edition is available in a dual-tone paint job as well as two color options- Silver Magenta and Ice Cool Red. The addition to the new paint schemes, the rest of features like technical specifications and mechanical components are untouched. Thus, the Gusto has successfully made its position into the list of top 10 selling scooters in the month of September 2015 sales as the company has sold 9,817 units of Gusto in September 2015.

The Mahindra Gusto is powered by the same 109.6cc, four-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder and M-Tech motor that returns 8 BHP of power at 7500 RPM and 9 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM, the motor is mated to the CVT transmission. Moreover, the Gusto returns an ARAI claimed mileage of 63 KMPL. Furthermore, the Mahindra Gusto is featured with a comprehensive list of dynamic features that include LED lights, flip key, self-locking mechanism on the seat, adjustable seat height, pilot lamps and parking lights.

The Gusto rides on a front telescopic suspension and a rear hydraulic suspension, while the stopping power is reduced by front and rear drum brake. Furthermore, the scooter competes with the rivals of the segment that includes Suzuki Lets, TVS Jupiter, Honda Aviator and Honda Activa-i.
