Earlier, we had informed that Maruti Baleno sales have beaten the Elite i20 for the month of November, 2015 and yet again the premium offering has outsold the latter in the month of December. Moreover, the all new Baleno has also defeated Honda Jazz in the race.
Discussing the figures of Deember, Maruti has been able to sell 10,572 units of the Baleno, while Hyundai i20 and Honda Jazz managed to sell 10,379 units and 2,602 units respectively. Clearly, Baleno has been reigning the compact segment of the automobile market. Within a few months, the sales had gone up from 4,229 units in October to 9,074 units in November.

On the other hand, things are not going down too well with Jazz. It started on a good note by selling 6,676 units in July, which afterwards deteriorated to 5,404 in August, 4,762 in September, 4,496 in October, 3,367 units in November and 2,602 units in December. Similarly, Hyundai i20 (including the sales of Elite i20 and i20 Active) once reached to a peak of 12,812 units, but now it has steeped down to just around 10,000 units.
Right from the launch to the bookings and sales figures, Baleno has been growing constantly and it is believed to excel even more in the near future. Every now and then, we keep hearing about the achievements of Baleno and hence this isn't surprising, considering the way it has been performing in the market. Interestingly, the hatchback is being sold exclusively through Nexa outlets, which are just 95 in number.
