Maruti S-Cross and Baleno Gets Minor Updates

India’s one the most leading car manufacturers, Maruti has offered some new interesting features for some of its lineup that includes Baleno premium hatchback and S-Cross Crossover. Both the cars are extremely popular here in the country and being sold through the Nexa Dealership.

Starting with Maruti Baleno crossing over 1 Lakh sales unit from its post launch which happened back in last year. The premium hatch now comes with ISOFIX seat mounts, a highly important safety features for children. Earlier in November this year, the Indo-Japanese auto major has also added such feature to its popular sedan, the Ciaz. The S-Cross, on the other hand, gets updates in the form of new 16-inch gun metal alloy wheels.

With ISOFIX child seat mounts, the Baleno is now compliant with BNVSAP (Bharat New Vehicle Safety Assessment Program), a car assessment program introduced by the Indian Government. Under this program, every new vehicle sold in the country will need to pass this test based on crash safety performance tests. In order to comply with this mandatory crash testing, every auto manufacturer will undoubtedly need safety features like airbags, ABS and seatbelt reminders as standard.
