Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift Showcased at GIIAS 2015

As promised by the automobile giant Suzuki, the facelift version of Ertiga has been officially showcased at the 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). This model is scheduled to arrive in India in the next few months with upgraded features. This MPV has been spotted testing at various places and hence there has been a lot of speculation as to what all components will be found in the interior and exterior of the car. Now, with this auto show, all the details have been confirmed and thereby putting an end to all the anticipation.

From outside, the fascia houses an all new three-slat grille with chrome finishing along with a revised bumper and fog lamps coated in chrome. Portions like headlamps and tail lamps have not received any alteration and the MPV is carried on new set of alloys. At the rear end, the 'Ertiga' emblem can be found highlighted by a chrome strip that is flanked by a set of reflectors and runs along the length of the boot lid.

The interior of this facelift model has been updated with facilities like key less ignition and electric adjustable ORVMs, much like the revised version of Dzire. Further, there will be a seven-inch SmartPlay infotainment, power windows and fabric upholstery. For safety, there are features like Anti-lock Braking System and dual airbags.

The source of power for this MPV will be the same 1.4 litre K Series petrol motor that is carried by the outgoing version of Ertiga. With the output of 92 PS and 130 Nm, this engine is linked with a five-speed automatic gearbox as well as a four-speed automatic transmission unit.
