Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Facelift Previewed: Details Inside

Numerous spyshots of the 2016 Suzuki S-Cross facelift were rolling around from a couple of days, but, nothing was revealed so far. Finally, some recent images of the crossover have been surfaced on the internet by Suzuki Hungary and the snaps showcase the interior and exterior of the car precisely.

Let's start the segment with the body dynamics, the 2016 Maruti S-Cross receives a revamped front profile with an updated grille and vertical slats, and new projector headlamps featured with LED DRLs. The bumper gets an all new chrome detailing along with a larger radiator grille and a fresh enclosure of the foglamp. Coming over to the rear portion, modified tail lights and bumper looks impressive. A new set of alloy wheels has been seen as well.

Stepping towards the interiors, we find a clean couch upholstery making a contrast with the stitching. Dashboard has got new trim options incorporating an infotainment system, which is fully digital and accompanied by a modified instrument console. Though, much of the things resemble the current car, but some extra noticeable bits include lots of silver, chrome, and shinier black finishing.

Inside the bonnet, the Suzuki S-Cross facelift is hiding a new 1.4-litre, Boosterjet petrol engine that is packed in Suzuki Vitara S as well. Moreover, a 1.6-litre MJD diesel engine is also there to run the crossover at a brisk speed. When it comes to the India-spec variant, the car will get a 1.5-litre M15 petrol mill that buckles up 100BHP of power and 133NM of torque paired up to a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Apart from this, Suzuki's AllGrip AWD system will be added as well.
