The much awaited crossover, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is finally going to get launched in India tomorrow. This car will be available for sale exclusively in the Nexa showrooms owned by the company. There will be 100 such showrooms located at 30 major cities of the country. Moreover, this upcoming crossover will be the first vehicle to be sold in the newly established Nexa showrooms. So, the excitement has got doubled both for the customers as well as for the company. It will be available in two variants namely, 320 DDiS and 200 DDiS.
From outside, it will feature 16-inch alloy wheels and projector HID headlamps. As we move inside, the cabin highlights a key-less ignition and a seven-inch infotainment system with touchscreen interface. The top-ranging models in the range will be equipped with features like airbags, automatic cruise control, Anti-Lock Braking System and all-4 disk brakes.
Under the hood, there will be a 1.6 litre, Multi-Jet engine in the 320 DDiS model that generates 118 Bhp and 320Nm torque. Moving on the 200 DDiS variant, it will be powered by 1.3 litre engine pumping out 89 Bhp and 200 Nm torque. For transmission, the former will be carrying a six-speed manual gearbox while the latter gets a five-speed manual gearbox.
The upcoming crossover cab be availed in five various paint shades- Pearl Arctic White, Premium Silver, Caffeine Brown, Granite Grey and Urban Blue. Expected to be priced at INR 8-10 Lacs, this all new crossover will pose a big threat to models like Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio and Nissan Terrano.
