The Mercedes-Benz has promulgated to embark its updated version of B-Class in India next year. This facelift model has already been launched in Germany and will go on sale with four petrol, a CNG and electric variant options. Its base B180 variant gets an approximate price of INR 20.94 Lakhs, while an Electric Drive model will be priced around INR 29.91 Lakhs. This runabout was showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in the month of September alongside an outstanding styling package. It has renovated headlamps comprising optional LED lighting, upgraded front fascia besides larger air intake as well as latest rim designs.
Coming to the mechanical terms, Mercedes B-Class receives four 4 cylinder petrol and diesel engines, a CNG including B200 Natural Gas Drive and B-Class Elecrtic Drive with appreciable 150 hp of power. Its 4MATIC all wheel drive system is the first ever luxury MPV, which will be listed in the index of top four premium cars. Inside, this vehicle unifies new 3 spoke steering wheel, transcendent 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system as well as an ambient lighting alongside 12 colors alternative to bestow plausible amenity for its occupants and drivers.
Since the its inauguration in 2005, Mercedes-Benz has sold out 1 million units of this runabout and since 2011, the second generation model has been sold over 380,000 variants globally. There are speculations that the 2015 launch of this car will break all records by establishing itself as the world’s best selling runabout.
