Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake Showed Up in Europe

Mercedes-Benz latest crossover CLA Shooting Brake was unveiled last year in the month of November and since then it has made many appearances on many world-wide platforms included the ongoing Detroit Motor Show 2015 as well. Now, the car has shown up in Brussels at another auto show before its possible European launch in March 2015. The car has been accepted very well all over the globe with its appealing design, classy interiors and power packed performance as well. It's said to be based on the company's famous MFA platform which has already been used for its CLA sedan cousin and a couple of other cars like GLA crossover, A class and B Class as well.

Coming to the exteriors of the car, it measures 4,630 mm long, 1,777 mm wide and 1,435 mm high size, which makes it around 3 mm taller than the CLA sedan. However, the Estate model of the car can allow you to take around 495 Litres of luggage with you with the enhanced rear space and the volume reaches to 1,354 Litre with rear seats down.

CLA Shooting Brake 

Under the hood, it'll get the company's regular 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines inherited from the CLA sedan. Also, a 2.0 Litre turbocharged version from the AMG variant will be producing 360 bhp power and 450 Nm of torque. The power will be transmitted to the front wheels using its latest 4MATIC all-wheel drive system which is available on CLA 45 AMG car. The Indian launch, however, hasn't been confirmed yet, but the Indian roads might see this car soon enough.
