Mercedes-Benz to Launch GLS in India Tomorrow

The German Luxury automaker, Mercedes-Benz is going to launch the GLS at an event in Delhi, tomorrow. It's not the new line-up for the company, in point of fact, GLS is the updated version of the GL-Class. The change in name has been occurred owing to the company’s new nomenclature. As a flagship model, some changes in the design and features have also been found. There is nothing officially out, but it could be priced in the range of INR 82 Lakh to 1 Crore (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

The front fascia has been twisted by new LED headlamps, restyled bumper, and grille, as well as tail lights, has also been considered in the modernizing. There is also an answer for the interior, which gets an infotainment system with touchpad and a fresh three spoke steering wheel. Moreover, the cabin is also adorned with leather upholstery in different shades such as Black, Ginger Beige and Espresso Brown, Crystal Grey and Black, Ginger Beige and Black, Saddle Brown and Black.

When it comes to the powertrain, it will be taken care of by a 3.0-litre, 6 cylinder V configuration in the mill. With this powerhouse, the engine will push the car by a maximum power of 255 Bhp along with a peak torque of 617 Nm. Furthermore, the power will be delivered at the wheels by the motor accompanied with a 9-speed automatic transmission instead of 7-speed AT gearbox.
