During the recent launch of Brutale 800 in India, MV Augusta had also discussed its plans to launch the Turismo Veloce 800 in the country next. Although the exact date for the launch is not confirmed yet, it is expected to be launched by the end of this year. Turismo Veloce 800 is an 800cc sport touring bike that is designed with Brutale 800's engine and underpinnings but with extra plastic cladding to give it the look of a sports touring bike. It has side panniers mounted to ensure perfect weight distribution. There are also available new saddle mounts that can be used to mount or unmount the panniers easily.

Among many customizations, the MV Agusta sport tourer bike now has a 22-litre fuel tank unit towards the back side to ensure enough room for the knee. The headlamp is completely made of LED with a large, adjustable windshield above it. The bike also has two small gloveboxes behind the shield. The handguards feature built-in turn indicators. Although the bike has the same 798cc three-cylinder motor of the Brutale series, it is designed for low range power. Other features include new cam profiles, new pistons, and intake and exhaust units.

The new bike comes with increased torque of 20 per cent. The revised power results are measured at 80Nm of torque @ 7100rpm and 110PS @ 10,150rpm. In short, it is a rather powerful bike. Electronics features of the bike include four riding modes, eight-stage traction system and full ride-by-wire. The lean-angle sensor empowers better cornering abilities in the bike. The company-specified top speed of the bike is 230kmph. As shown in the image, the trellis frame key areas are inserted with aluminium for extra rigidity. There is a single-sided swingarm. While there are fully adjustable Marzocchi upside-down forks at the front with 160mm of wheel travel, the rear has a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock damper.
