Hero has developed a new 200cc platform and we have come across with two of its offerings like the Hero Xtreme 200R and the Xpulse 200. Both of these bikes are likely to go on sale by the end of this year or maybe during the festive season. Based on the similar platform, Hero wanted to roll four different products from the production line. Lately, a patent image has been leaked online, which gives an idea of a new or third bike in the row.
Apparently, the patent image is not revealing much about the bike. But, it’s giving a brief idea that the forthcoming will quite be a unique prospect. Something like tough and rugged street motorcycle. The furnishings like the headlamp, fuel tank and a long seat that reaches onto the fuel tank make the bike look like a scrambler. On the other side, the front and rear fenders, which are conventional in nature took the idea away at the same time.
A closer inspection unveils sort of closeness with the Xpluse as the equipped components on patent like the round headlamp, all-digital instrument console and the fuel tank looks alike or shared. Albeit, the alloys setup, one of the major highlights seems borrowed from the Xtreme 200R
Moreover, the new 200cc Hero will feature a monoshock suspension at the rear that is only being offered with the bikes debuted with the Hero’s 200cc platform. All in all, it will bridge the Xpulse and the Xtreme 200R in terms of equipment and functionality.
The thing, which one can accept for the bike is underpinned powertrain will be the same 200cc, air-cooled unit that has been incorporated on the Xtreme 200R and the Xpulse. Well, it is not confirmed that which fuel system would be used, a carburettor or a fuel injection unit.
The patent image for this third and new 200cc platform motorcycle has been out. As expected, in no time we could be able to see the motorcycle in production ready or a near-production spec by the year runs out. Since the Hero has a habitat of showcasing product long before its official launch in the market. In terms of pricing, we could see the price tag ranging INR 90K- 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
