New Version of Datsun Go to be Introduced with Improved Features

After being criticized for the poor safety features and failing miserably at the crash test, Nissan had recently re-introduced the Datsun Go T(O) model. This car has been brought back in the market with airbags and improved quality of materials have been used in the manufacturing. Now, the market is buzzing with reports that yet another version of this hatchback is being planned by the automaker. It might receive a new name along with some tweaked features at certain portions of the vehicle. The new name to be given to this next version model is likely to be GO-NEXT or GO-NXT.

The new version is likely to carry several modern and high-tech features that have been missed out in the earlier model. It is being speculated that facilities like keyless ignition and reverse parking camera might be present in the new trim. Besides, the cabin is likely to highlight a piano-black center console as a standard feature across the range. As far as the powertrain is concerned, the upcoming trim is expected to be equipped with a 1198 cc motor that will deliver a maximum output of 68Bhp and 104Nm of torque.

The Japanese automobile brand is also getting ready to introduce some models in the Indian automobile market with the names Datsun Redi-Go, X-Trail and GT-R. Coming back to this upcoming version, the company is aiming to recover the losses incurred because of the short comings found in the current Datsun. We hope the upcoming version is received well by the audience as well as by the regulatory authorities concerned with NCAP crash test.
