Audi is all set to roll out its next generation TT Coupe in India, but the launch date is yet to be finalized. It's expected to be introduced in our country in the first half of this ongoing year between the range of INR 60 Lacs to INR 70 Lacs. This new model will be acquainted with 45TFSI alongside Audi's Quanttro all wheel drive system and the S-Tronic gearbox, which means that the runabout would get a 2.0 litre four cylinder TFSI petrol engine. Its mill will produce power of 230 hp as well as torque of 370 Nm and will be mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The churned out power will get distributed to its all four wheels via the gearbox and would make this car capable to receive a top speed of 253 km/h after accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds. Based on the MQB platform, the upcoming Audi TT includes 37 mm longer wheelbase with regard to its existing version, while saving 50 kg weight will make it more fuel efficient than the current one.

The new generation model will be the India's first car from Volkswagen Group that would feature the Virtual Cockpit System and after this, latest VW Passat as well as Audi Q7 will be embarked including this technology. Moreover, the German car maker will bring this vehicle via CBU route as the competitor of BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK Class.
