Earlier this month, Nissan made the global appearance of its Sway concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This showcased model gives the designing cues of the next generation Micra hatchback, which is expected to be launched in the Indian car market either in 2016 or 2017. The concept variant received an appreciable response at the outgoing auto event in Geneva with new design philosophy alongside a beautiful body figure and enthralling interiors that has mainly been engineered to give a new look for the upcoming Nissan hatchback cars.

As this upcoming Micra is also a hatchback model, so it is anticipated to inherit its various features from the Sway concept with V-motion front grille and boomerang shaped headlights. Moreover, this updated runabout will have floating roofline and jagged-up C-pillar that would take inspiration from the Nissan Lannia concept, which has already been debuted at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. Dimension wise, the Sway concept is 4010 mm in length, 1780 mm in width, 1385 mm in height and 2570 mm in wheelbase.

Its interior has been inspired by the Idx concepts with fresh features comprising suede like fabric covered lightweight seats to confer the best seating for its occupants. There are maximum possibilities that the new Micra will be launched in 2017 in India and is probably to be based on the same V platform.
