Piaggio India Launches Vespa VX and Vespa S In Nepal

Piaggio India has successfully made its entry in the neighboring country, Nepal. Simultaneously, the firm has launched two models of Vespa called Vespa VX and Vespa S at a price of NPR 2,49,946 and NPR 2,63,946 respectively. Both the models will be exported from its Indian manufacturing facility. The official dealer of Vespa in Nepal will be D-lifestyle- a conglomerate of the Dev Jyoti Group.

Moreover, both the models of Vespa are powered by a single cylinder, four-stroke and 3-valve motor, carrying an engine displacement of 125cc, mated to a CVT transmission. The Vespa VX and Vespa S are the premium scooters have an Italian touch. Furthermore, both the models have a single side arm front suspension and dual shocks at the rear. The braking duties are performed by a 200 mm front disc and a 140 mm drum brake at the rear. The other noteworthy features are a tubeless tyres, front disc brake, single piece monocoque steel body and round headlight.

In the Nepali two-wheeler market, the Vespa VX will available in five color options- Lime Yellow, Portovenere Green, Dragon Red, Monte Bianco White and Midnight Blue. Whereas, the Vespa S will be sold in four color options- Taormina Orange, Monte Bianco White, Dragon Red and Matt Black.
