RE Himalayan Adventure Tourer Caught Again, Closely Uncovered

After the Continental GT, the most rumored and anticipated product of the Royal Enfield is its another upcoming motorcycle, probably christened as Royal Enfield Himalayan Adventure Tourer. The RE Continental GT has come-up with a completely new concept of a Cafe-Racer. The firm is now offering a wide range of cruiser motorcycles and a Cafe-Racer. And, the upcoming one would entirely come up with another maiden segment, i.e. Adventure Tourer. The firm is consecutively invading over a new segment in order to serve the customers in a better manner.

Talking about the RE Himalayan Adventurer Tourer, this is the second time when the motorcycle has been spotted testing. The motorcycle was found teasing the Indian tarmac in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Supposed to be featuring a solo block air-cooled unit carrying an engine displacement of 400cc. The upcoming machine would be a re-tuned version of the existing 350cc engine churning out more power and torque. The upcoming 400cc engine would be expected to receive a fuel-injection system, leaving behind the carburetor.

From the last and latest spy images, we are coming closer to the cosmetic appearance of the RE Himalayan Adventure Tourer. As we all know, that the Royal Enfield has already had the famous Ex-Ducati designer, Mr. Pierre Terblanche, in the team to design upcoming products. The RE Himalayan could be the first and foremost product handcrafted by the newly joined designer. However, being an Ex-Ducati designer, we might be able to see an Italian touch in the upcoming Adventure-Tourer. For the spied images, it already looks quite interesting and appealing as well.

The components which we can clearly fetch out are the two-tone exhaust tail, unit handlebar and a simply designed instrument cluster. It also reveals a chrome-plated headlamp, front tyre hugger, bulky fuel tank carrying badge of A2; could be temporary, visible chassis, position of foot-pegs and the riding posture. There is no tyre hugger for the rear wheel. One can also say that the upcoming motorcycle could be a perfect blend of a cruiser, cafe-racer, scrambler and even an Adventure Tourer. Eventually, to witness the reality we need to wait for some time until the manufacturer reveals it officially. Till then, stay tuned with SAGMart to catch some more spy images (if we'll get the one) and to know about the launching date of the very same.
