India has welcomed the most awaited facelift of Renault Fluence. Rather there is long list of sedans that are going to be launched in this year in Indian market, yet this brand is one of trustworthy car manufacturer with list of most popular cars in each segment. Here we are going to have some reviews upon the car’s features and performance that may appeal the readers.
Price Range: In terms of price range, it is ranging from 13.99 – 15.49 INR. This well featured car is priced not more than it’s worth. This is good price for Indian buyers who want a powerful sedan. The diesel E2 will be available in Rs 13.99 and the other model Diesel E4 will cost Rs 15.49.
Engine Performance: Renault Fluence is equipped with three types of engines, two diesels and one petrol engine. The diesel variants are 1.5 litre E2 and 1.5 litre E4 that produces the same torque of 108.5 bhp. These engines are engaged with 6-speed manual transmission gearbox. Talking about the petrol variant, 2.0 litre petrol engine that emits power of 135.1 bhp and come with 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox. These engines produce sufficient power that will give an adventurous drive.
Mileage: The Company claims that both the petrol and diesel engines are more fuel efficient. The petrol engine gives 13.4 kmpl, while the diesel E2 engine delivers 21.8 kmpl and the diesel E4 engine 20.4 kmpl. Its diesel mileage is awesome but petrol variant disappoints.
Breaking and Handling: This car offers stabilizer bar and shock absorber front suspension system and a rear suspension system which gives a more comfortable drive. Large disc brakes are added to make it safer. The braking system adds up ABS, EBD and ESP system. Suspension plays extra role, it gives smooth driving and give the support to the chassis. Its power steering and control over car is nice. Overall we will give 4 out of 5 to its handling and breaking system.
Safety and Security: This facelift adds up with side-chest level four airbags. All the seats are well assembled with seat belts. Front fog lamps, disc brakes, central locking system makes it more cozy and safer sedan. In terms of safety, we will give it 3.5 out of 5.
Looks: This car is designed with special efforts that make it more stylish and sporty. Large rectangular radiator grille adds to the beauty of the car. The rear side view is more aggressive. This facelift is equipped with electrically powered ORVMs in body color and silver finish door handles. Overall looks make it eye-catchy.
This car is worth for money that can give a tough competition to its companion sedans. We will give it 3.8 ranking out of 5.
