It’s been almost four to five months now when Himalayan first entered the Indian market. In order to defeat the bumpy and challenging terrains in the country, the RE has made a serious effort and as a result, come up with the sportier and adventurous Himalayan. Initially, it was introduced in the country in two color options, namely, black and white, and now to make a stir all around, the cruiser bike maker has unveiled a new paint scheme for the motorcycle. A Royal Enfield Himalayan finished in Army Green Livery has been spotted at a dealership in Ahmedabad.
Quickly wrapping up the new elements, this new fan-favorite shade bike features a jerrycan on either side of the belly and gets the same color. Also, the panniers with leather straps are painted in army green scheme. Receiving a new chassis from Harris Performance, the Himalayan is certainly very adaptable for the traffic and road conditions in India. It is armed with dual purpose tyres with high ground clearance, a big 21’’ front wheel and a 14-litre fuel tank capacity.

A single round-shaped headlamp, an analog dial instrument panel, and a large speedometer displaying the readouts in mph and kmph give the bike a more rejuvenating look, which is good enough to attract the younkers. Besides this, a digital selector gear indicator, two trip meters, an odometer, clock, and two small dials incorporating a dual gauge and digital compass are again a couple of attributes worth to discuss.
The Himalayan breathes via an all-new 411cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine yielding a power of 24.5 PS at 6500 RPM and 32NM of torque at 4000-4500 RPM, matched up to a five-speed gearbox.
