Scoop: All TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Variants Endow Optional ABS at Dealership

Rumors have been surfaced around the corners that the TVS Motor Company is all set to offer the facility of installments of the really required safety features of dual-channel ABS, on all the variants of the lately launched fastest beast from the company, Apache RTR 200 4V, in January this year. It's an optional feature, desired candidates have the facility to equip this safety component, which is reportedly sourced from the Continental AG, at the authorized dealership of TVS in the estimated costing around INR 10,000 to 12,000 (Exclusive of all labour charges).

TVS has a plan to launch the bike phase-wise in the country and to achieve this deadline automaker ramp-up the production of the Apache RTR 200 4V. However, the selected variants of the motorcycle has been sold in a few cities of the southern India. Altogether, the Dual channel ABS will also be retro fitted at authorised dealer level, to the variants of the Apache, which is available in standard TVS Remora and optional Pirelli tyres. And it will take place when the delivery of the relevant components commenced to the authorized dealer.

Currently only a few bikes in India comes fitted with this safety feature of Dual Channel ABS, which are CBR 250R from Honda, KTM 390 and Apache 200 4V will be the third one as a link in the chain. Well, Apache RTR 180 offers the ABS facility, but that one is a single channel ABS which works on to the front wheel only.

Moreover, the beast is power packed by a single cylinder, oil cooled motor with the engine displacement of the 200cc. And get the both fuel injected and carbureted injected mechanism variant to serve the wider range of audience all over the country.
