Seat Crossover to be Rendered at 2015 Geneva Auto Show

The Spanish automobile manufacturer, Seat is all set to send its new crossover at the dealerships next year, while its concept model will be arriving at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show to render the complete features. Four years ago, the car maker had unveiled its IBX crossover concept at this same event, what is creating an excitement for everyone to know that how different the things will be in this upcoming vehicle as compared to the earlier version. Approx 1 year ago, the company had made an announcement that the runabout has already been sent under production at the Martorell facility.

The chairman of Seat, Jurgen Stackmann said, “The SUV is an important pillar in the future corporate strategy and is a major step forward on the road to reaching sustainable profitability for the company.” Moreover, there are only speculations about this new crossover concept and is expected to be based on the MQB platform, including similar mills as the lbiza alongside 1.2-2.0 litre range with three- and four-cylinder naturally aspirated options. Theses mills are anticipated to be mated to a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG transmissions, which would do their duty for sending the produced power to its wheels.

Notably, all wheel drive configuration also seems to be introduced, while the outlook is likely to get inspired by the Ibiza and Leon with sculpted wheel arches, trapezoidal headlamps and the tornado line.
