Skoda Rapid Anniversary Edition model has been recently launched at the price of INR 6.99 Lacs in India. The model has been introduced with minor changes on the exterior portion, but at the same time some elements have been added thereby making the owner's driving experience more enjoyable. The most distinctive feature is the Track Pro device that has been fitted in the top end variant Elegant Plus. As Skoda is known to come up with clever philosophy in each and every model, the same is the case with this edition.
From outside, the car highlights a black roof and there are black stripes running along the length of the sedan on either side. Rest of the elements like bumper, grille and headlights have not been altered. Moving on to the cabin, there is a 2 DIN audio player with Bluetooth compatibility, adjustable air con- vents, fully adjustable steering wheel and cruise control, etc. For safety, dual front airbags have been fitted as a standard feature across the range.
The Track Pro device that has been equipped in the top end variant is the highlight of this newly launched sedan. This device facilitates the owner to keep a track of the car's location with the help of 24X7 SMS facility. Several other functions like recording the trip history, assigning speed limit and boundary alerts and updating tracking configurations such as owner's mobile number and vehicle registration IDs, etc can also be performed through this device.
The owner will even get notified on his registered mobile number about crucial situations like car getting towed, over speeding, entering or exiting boundaries or if the device gets disconnected or re-connected with the car. Considering all these facilities, this Track Pro is truly a significant addition to the sedan, which makes it a unique offering.
