German car manufacturer Skoda has relaunched their first Indian car Octavia. The car is priced between 13.95 to 19.45 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. This car is launched with 3 trims and 4 engine options. The engine options include 2 litre diesel engine, 1.4 lire petrol engine and 1.8 litre petrol engine. The 2 litre engine is available in manual and automatic transmissions while other two variants are available in manual transmission only.
Skoda board member (sales and marketing) said that this car is designed to match the taste of Indian car buyers. The modern design, better space, top notch quality and technology will definitely impress the Indian costumers.
The new Octavia is available in 6 color options which include silver, candy white, cappuccino beige, rio red, metal grey, race blue. This car has parktronic sensors which enables the dashboard mounted screen to show the exact distance between the car and any obstacle. Apart from this it includes paranomic sunroof, rain sensing wipers, power windows, traction control, ABS, rear AC vents, remote locking, driver’s seat height adjust and bi-xenon headlights.
Octavia was first launched in 2004 and Skoda had made their entry in India with this car. Now they have relaunched it with added benefits. This car will fill the gap between Fabia and Superb as Skoda has discontinued their Laura saloon.
