Skoda Yeti Facelift Launch, scheduled for the September 2014

The Czech car maker Skoda's famous crossover car “Yeti” is expecting to get a facelift this festive season with some cool changes on inside and outside the car. Earlier news of the market reported the month of July for the launch of Skoda Yeti, but now it has been scheduled for the early September, that is the beginning of the festival season in India. The new Skoda Yeti will be exclusively looking great and have the new power boosting capabilities as well, according to the company.

The Skoda will change the headlamps, grille, bumper and design of the Yeti on the exteriors. Apart from that, the company will get the new logo moving from the grille to bonnet and on the rear side, Yeti will get the new sporty LED tail lamps. On the interiors, the upgrades will be 3-spoke steering wheel, update upholstery, executive feel, high seating position, cozy seats, dual-zone AC, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, powered driver seat, optical parking assistant and folding rear seats for the individuals as well.

However, the engine won't get an update in the Skoda Yeti Facelift and I guess, the current one is not bad at all. The current Yeti engine is a 2.0 Litre TDI diesel power house which has the two options available for you, viz 110 BHP power and 250 NM torque with front wheel 5-speed manual gearbox drive and 140 BHP power 320 NM torque version with 6-speed manual gearbox providing power to all wheels. The price will also not be a huge factor in this upgraded version with a price tag of around INR 15.19 Lac.
