Suzuki Motorcycles India has taken the Access 125 to another level, adding exclusive styling stuff and new color scheme. To cash in the sales this festive season, the Indian arm of the Japanese giant has launched the Special Edition of the model in question at an initial price of INR 55,589 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). While the overall sales chart of the Access 125 has not been fairly well in its entire journey till date, still, the host of features and the peppy engine it has been featured with are worth admiring.
Undoubtedly, the retro appeal is making the scooter trendy and juvenile. A leather seating couch getting a maroon finish, circular chrome mirrors, and brown-colored foot board manage to emerge the cosmetic look of the vehicle to a great extent. Mechanically, the changes have been remained constant.
"The Access15 has been one of our most successful models. We have enhanced the fashion quotient and introduced the Access 125 Special Edition to diversify our presence in the segment and cater to the evolving needs of our customers. The Access 125 Special Edition is an indivisible combination of substance and style which gives it a retro feel and make it stand out in the crowd," said, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycles India.
The detailing of chrome from the standard version is going to be carried to the special edition model as well with chrome finished headlight cluster and chrome covered aluminum exhaust. On the technical front, the analog-digital instrument cluster, self-start, under seat space, one-press lock system, and a mobile charging port are identical to the standard machine.

Below the seat, the scooter has been engineered with a single-cylinder, air-cooled 124cc engine with Suzuki’s signature SEP technology. With a maximum power of 8.7PS and a peak torque of 10.2NM, the motor is paired up to a CVT transmission.
As far as the competition is concerned, the serious rival under consideration is one and only the Honda Activa 125, which holds the top position in the scooter segment right now. Nevertheless, the Access 125 has got the relaxation of a low price tag, making it think over the former up to a certain extent.
