Spero E-Bike, India’s first crowdfunded E-bike manufactured under the shed of Coimbatore-based Milltex Engineers. The firm has managed to collect over Rs 37.5 lakh from the fundraising campaign to promote green environment initiative among the people.
In terms of offered traveling range, the Spero has been categories in three models of E-30, E-60, and E-100 which can run 30kms, 60kms and 100kms respectively. Priced in the range between Rs 55,500 to Rs 84,990, the one from the mentioned trims can be booked at the cheaper price range of Rs 29, 900 to Rs 50,900.
Introduced in the three colour options- blue, orange and black, Spero E-bikes are capable of attaining the top speed of 25kmph in 10 seconds with the mated 5 gears transmission in electric mode. The equipped 48V battery can easily be charged from 20% to 80% via a 5 amp socket in 4 hours and by peddling the E-bike too. The eco-friendly bike maker claims a one-year battery warranty.
An attractive mode of transport on its own, leaves a zero carbon and help to reduce the traffic congestion to a great extent. Ideally suited for the environment-friendly user, this no peddling, charge and go electric Spero E-bike uses standard bicycle components on its skeleton. The other highlighted and rider aids features include front shock, disc brakes, pedal assist, cruise control and headlight. As well as, the equipped digital display protect with the password, facilitates the rider with the speedometer, battery charge indicator, temperature sensor and trip meter. The important fact is there is no need of driving license or insurance for this E-bike as it's really safe and secure into all bike racks.
