The all new Baleno by Maruti Suzuki, which is going to be launched this month is a hot topic of discussion nowadays. It is being promoted aggressively by the automaker so as to keep the customers' interest intact in the model. Sometime back, there was a banner displayed at Nexa outlet located in Bengaluru and now the official website of Nexa has revealed a poster which says “Baleno Coming Soon to Nexa”. However, the website does not mention any fixed date, yet it is almost confirmed that it will be launched on October 26.

Based on the iK-2 platform, this premium hatchback will pose a serious threat to the likes of Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz, and Volkswagen Polo. The production has already started and the company is accepting bookings in return of an amount of INR 25,000. It will be adorned with numerous hi-tech equipments including projector headlights with LED DRLs, 7-inch infotainment, automatic climate control, ABS, EBD, etc. This upcoming car is also inspired from the looks of Swift hatchback, which is quite a popular player in its segment.
The powertrain lineup will include petrol as well as diesel variants with the SHVS technology integrated in the latter versions. The petrol trim will be powered by a 1.2 litre VVT engine generating 83 Bhp and 115 Nm of output, whereas the diesel trim will be packed with a 1.3 litre DDiS unit that can make 745 Bhp of power at 4000 rpm and 190 Nm of peak torque at 2000 rpm.
