Suzuki Inazuma: Price goes down by Rs 1 Lakh

Suzuki Inazuma was Launched in India in January 2014 at a price tag of Rs 3.61 Lakh. The launch price of this bike was Rs 3.25 Lakh (on-road Delhi) and Rs 3.61 Lakh (on-road Mumbai). Now, to become a competitor in the list of Quarter-liter bikes in India, Suzuki has cut down the price of newly launched Inazuma, by approx 30 percent of the total price, i.e. nearly Rs 1 lakh. Now, the on-road price of this bike is Rs 2.61 Lakh in Mumbai and Rs 2.25 Lakh in Delhi.

The unmatched combination of high price and not much impressive features was leading this bike to weak sales track. Suzuki might have slashed the prices of Inazuma in order to cope up with other 250 cc series bikes currently enjoying the category's huge share in Indian as well as global market. This decision may help them to establish fame and name in the respective bike segment. As per Suzuki, the changeover price comes after bajilions of prospects' and inspections in showrooms revealed that the price of the bike was the only intention why it wasn't making a place in people's mind.

Suzuki Inazuma

Suzuki Inazuma, featuring a fuel-injected, parallel-Twin engine giving an engine displacement of 250cc. The power generated is 26BHP and a maximum peak torque of 24.4Nm. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission box. The bike has appealing chrome finish with its dual cradle frame, dual exhaust parallel pipes along with telescopic front forks. The braking system is equipped with disc brakes at both front and rear. Even after cutting the price, the bike is still pricier than Honda CBR 250R and KTM Duke 390, and the competition will surely boost up with the coming Yamaha R25.
