As the homegrown automaker Tata gets ready for the release of its much awaited Kite 5 compact sedan here in the country, the model has been repeatedly making its appearance online. This time, it was spied in Coimbatore. Going by the sources, the engineering mule had clocked about 1 lakhs km but some final niggles are needed to be sorted out. Although, we were expecting its entry into the auto shores during this festive season, sadly it is now rumored to be pushed forward to 2017.

Considering the sub-4 meter sedan earlier captured by the spy photographers in a Blue shade, we can believe that it would be among the list of colors that the vehicle will be optioned in. Besides, it is hard to find anything as the car has been covered by heavy cladding from each angle. Thanks to the automotive member, which has further shared the information about the interior as well. Though, he has been instructed not to take any pictures inside the cabin, still, a quick peek was more or less enough to catch the visuals of the car.

According to the source, the interior of the compact sedan has reminded me the cabin of what I saw in the Tiago hatchback once that has equipped with Harman based infotainment system with a 5-inch touchscreen display, armrest for the rear occupants, and automatic climate control. On the exterior front, the unit was integrated with projector headlights.

Much of the details have already been revealed by the company at the 2016 Auto Expo, where it has made its first public debut. Tata had also instituted a quiz for having a perfect name of the compact sedan and shortlisted three names - Dribble, Ingrid and Canvas. Well, the selection of name has not been official yet, but, a buzz of rumors suggest that Tata may launch this car under the moniker of Canvas.
