Tata Launches Xenon Yodha for INR 6.05 lakh

Presenting the first model of this year, Tata Motors has launched its new pick-up vehicle, the Xenon Yodha in India. The curtain from the vehicle was taken off by popular Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who recently named as the automaker's new brand ambassador for commercial vehicles. Available in single cab and double cab variants, the pick-up comes with a payload capacity of 1250 kg and also capable of performing several commercial applications.  

Powered by a common-rail diesel engine, it is available in multiple variants including 4x2 and 4x4, and single-cab and double-cab options. The pick-up - Tata Xenon Yodha, is available at the price of INR 6.05 lakh for Single Cab - BS-III unit and INR 6.19 lakh for Single Cab -BS-IV.

Powering the Tata Xenon Yodha is a 3.0-litre diesel motor that makes out 72 Bhp of power with 223 Nm of peak torque in the BS III model and 85 Bhp of power with 250 Nm of peak torque in the BS-IV model. For better mileage, the pick-up has a reliable and rugged transmission box, for a flat curve at 1600-2200 rpm. This helps better pick up in a loaded condition and minimise gear shifts. Also, it has a decent ride height of 210 mm.

The Xenon Yodha sports power steering and an adjustable steering column. Inside the cabin, it features high-intensity cabin lights and complete carpet flooring for better aesthetics, said the company. The model is also come equipped with anti roll bars for better stability in loaded conditions at high speeds and off road conditions. Other safety features are - a 3-layered body construction, a collapsible steering column,  retractable seatbelts, crumple zones, and side intrusion beams.
