Tata Nano GenX with AMT Launched at INR 2.69 Lac

Finally, the waiting period for Tata Nano GenX has been ended as the homegrown automaker has launched this small hatchback today in India at the starting price of INR1.99 Lac for the regular variant and INR 2.69 Lac for the AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) version, ex-showroom, Delhi. Based on the brand's new 'Infinity Design Theme', it renders similar aspects as its predecessor, while this runabout also gets noticeable cosmetic as well as interiors updates to display somehow more captivating glimpse as compare to the outgoing one.

Aesthetically, the car receives a new front end with a large badge, smoked headlamps including black bezel fog lamps, whereas the rear profile comprises integrated spoiler and additional openable boot for manual regular versions. Moreover, the Nano GenX is available in seven color options, such as Sangria Red, Persian Rose, Pearl White, Royal Gold, Damson Purple, Dazzle Blue and Metero Silver. 

Inside, this mini model comprises an Amphistream music system with Bluetooth connectivity and 4 speakers, Zest motivated steering wheel, multi information display, latest interior trims, front power windows, power steering, externally adjustable ORVMs, burglar alarm and central locking remote. Coming to the powertrains, it is powered by the same 624cc twin cylinder engine as its old variant, though there is a new cylinder head and aluminum block.

Tata Nano GenX Interior

Capable of producing 38.19 PS of power and 51 Nm of torque, this mill has been mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission. Notably, newly added AMT variant has been rising as the most affordable automatic car in the country. Both versions (regular and AMT) are enough impressive in bestowing ARAI validate mileage of 23.6 km/l and 21.9 km/l, respectively.
