The latest hatchback from Tata Motors- Tata Tiago is the company's most promising product in the current period as the car has been doing a great job in boosting up the sales. With over 22,000 bookings in the period of two months since its launch, the vehicle now crosses the mark of 23000 and consequently, the waiting period for the Tiago stands up to three months.
Out of the total bookings, more than 80 percent accounts for the petrol variants of the hatchback. Prices for the same are between the range of Rs. 3.2 lakh and Rs. 4.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). At this price, no wonder the Tiago is making a brisk success and surpassing the list of popular hatchbacks in the country. The car has got tough competition from rivals like Maruti Suzuki Celerio, the Hyundai Grand i10, and the Chevrolet Beat, which hold a higher price tag than the vehicle being considered.

Tata Motors have got back their third position in the passenger cars segment by the introduction of Tiago beneath Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai, stated by the Hindu BusinessLine report. Also, the company makes a 100 percent growth in the hatchback genre in June in which Tiago enjoys the credit of 3,022 unit sales in the month of launch, while 3,287 units in the month of May. Talking about the June figures, 4205 units were retailed out, which positions Tiago at a top in Tata's stable exceeding the monthly outgoing of 4000 vehicles in the last two years.
