The electric street fighter from the Energica has shown its presence at the EICMA. The company already has an electric superbike EGO which is a faired custom. The Showcased model EVA is the same bike, but with the equipments of street fighter. The innovative idea of bringing a naked sports bike in electric avatar is highly commendable. It is the only bike across the range to wear the purported design. The Energica EGO was launched during the climax of year 2013. It’s been detuned with the fairing stuff, foot pegs, and handle bar positioning for the required appearance.
The CRP Group is has planted the electric engine which is a high power discharging apparatus. The 134 BHP output mated with 195 Nm of torque are the ideal terms to wake up the silent roar from the soul. The core housing of the bike includes a permanent magnet alternate current(PMAC) oil cooled motor. The acceleration counts the 100 KMPH mark within 3 seconds. It is a sign of quality that the spinning potential of the bike is kept so high, besides making it follow the 150 KM milestone at a full charge. The overall quality of the vehicle is kept considerably enormous. The good thing is that the 11.7 kWh battery can be recharged within half an hour to 85% with the 4 phase DC charging equipment to acquire the next landmark.
There are chances that the company will plan a room for the revision of these figures, which are borrowed from the faired version. The tuning can be performed with the top speed and maximum kilometer range to cover within single charge. Currently, the top speed of the EGO i.e. 240 KMPH is considered to boasted with the EVA as well.
The bike is not a production unit and company calls it a prototype. The 2016 will be the year of its dawn when it would connect its motor with the real roads.
