The Electric Street Fighter Energica Eva set to launch Next Year

The Italian electric professional, Energica, is going to unleash a perfect mixture of agility and aggressive riding by its new Energica Eva, scheduled to be launched after the year 2015 ends. Last year, Energica showcased its 136 HP naked Eva. Albeit, the power spec ratio as compared to the previous year has been down to 95 HP, the new electric Street Fighter is still flaunting its charm.

Talking about the range, the galvanic Eva in 'ECO' mode has a range up to 125 miles which was originally pegged at 90 miles if stuck to 50mph. Power drops on the Energica Eva by a permanent magnet AC (PMAC) air-cooled motor that churns out 96 HP of instantaneous power and maximum torque of 170 NM. In sports mode, it can reach a top speed of 200 km/h. Available modes for the bike are- 'urban', 'rain' or 'sports' mode while the braking system bifurcations are: high, medium, low or off.

Energica Eva Bike

Because of its electric functionality, the Energica Eva does not have a gearbox or a clutch. Everything is under control by a ride-by-wire system, the integrated regenerative torque braking is fully adjustable by the rider which allows the acceleration and deceleration of the motor. There are no compatibility issues as the motorcycle is fully compatible with commercial charging stations or can be charged at home. Energica Eva is the first 100% electric street fighter integrated with fast charging system on board.

Energica teases with two versions of the bike, one with wire wheels and the other with alloys. Prices start from less than 20,000 Euros. Energica says, for spending such a big amount, buyers will get a fair kit as standard, including, a dash with GPS and bluetooth build in, a battery monitoring system and an on-board charger.
