One of the most demanding cars of Hyundai, Elite i20 has now been confirmed by the market report to get a latest touchscreen infotainment system inside its cabin. Notably, this fresh feature will be introduced only on the top end version of the hatchback, which is already running on the Indian ways. The infotainment system will comprise a satellite navigation system alongside telephone and audio functions. It will create hurdles in the way of gaining noteworthy profits for the upcoming Honda Jazz as Hyundai will offer this model soon with more impressive interior as compared to the current one.
Currently, the runabout is powered by both fuel mill options, petrol and diesel. While the former one gets a 1.2 litre kappa Dual VTVT unit paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, the latter receives a 1.4 litre U2 CRDi engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Both of these mills are capable of producing the effective power and torque of 83 bhp, 113 Nm and 89 bhp, 219 Nm, respectively.
Apart from the new infotainment system, the Hyundai Elite i20 already includes height adjustable driver's seat, climate control, cooled glovebox, reverse parking assist, cruise control, three spoke steering with integrated audio and Bluetooth controls, etc.
Its cabin has enough space to offer a comfortable seating for the occupants as well as comprising quite impressive equipments to render them a joyful journey. Now, the refreshed Elite i20 will be the one after Honda Jazz to feature a factory fitted navigation systems.
