Triumph Motorcycles India to Launch 2017 Street Triple on June 12

The Indian subsidiary of the largest British motorcycle maker, Triumph Motorcycle India is going to launch the 2017 calendar year version of its naked performance bike, the 2017 Street Triple on 12 June this month. Launched in 2007, the Street Triple had received bits of updates on both cosmetics and mechanical end in 2013 and now after a long duration of 10 years, Triumph has upgraded its ageing bike to a large extent.

The Triumph Street Triple, which has known for an extraordinary balance between daily commute, exciting performance, and brilliant dynamics, had been dispatched over 50,000 units across the globe since its launch in 2007. Globally, the motorcycle is being offered in three variants- S, R, and RS, differentiated on the basis of power delivery and provided features. The same are also expected here in India in an enhanced form. As scheduled, we will get the Street Triple S, the base variant of the brand on 12 June. While, the top end variants- R and RS will mark their entry in the coming months of the year.

Beneath the fuel tank, the motorcycle is accompanied by a 765cc three-cylinder engine that in association with a six-speed gearbox, is liable to generate 113PS of maximum power at 11,250rpm and 73Nm of peak torque at 9,100rpm.

The 2017 Street Triple, which runs on Pirelli Diablo Rossa Corsa 120/70 R17 front tyre and 180/55 R17 rear tyre, get suspended on Showa 41mm USD forks with 110mm distance travel along with Showa piggyback reservoir mono shock with 124mm travel at the rear. While the braking power comes from twin 310mm floating discs with Nissin 2-piston sliding calipers at the front wheel and a single 220mm fixed disc with Brembo single-piston sliding caliper at the rear wheel. Other than this, seated at the height of 810mm, the Street Triple S weighs 166kgs and offers 17.4 liters fuel capacity. If the electronic aids are concerned, Triumph has furnished the Triple S with the features including ride-by-wire, ABS, switchable traction control, gullwing swingarm and two riding modes of Rain and Road. in addition to that, the attributes such as LED position headlamps, LCD instrument console, a revived flyscreen with integrated air intake and fresh inner and outer radiator cowls, are some equipment which offers an eye catch appearance to the bike.
