Triumph Rocket has Got a Topping X on 10th Birthday at EICMA 2014

At the ongoing Milan Motorcycle Show, the Triumph Motorcycles is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the well-famed Rocket III Roadster. The firm has given new birth to the Roadster motorcycle, as it's been showcased in a limited edition variant and got a fresh name with extra topping; Rocket X. Being a limited edition motorcycle, the firm will be manufacturing only 500 units of the newly showcased motorcycle. For the past 10 years, the Rocket III Roadster was wearing the crown of the world's largest-capacity mass production motorcycle. The manufacturer claims that there is nothing else like it on the road. The company will be offering various custom options offering Triumph Genuine Accessories.

Triumph Rocket X

The Rocket X is powered by a 2294cc, 12-Valve, fully-balanced three-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. The 2294cc displacement engine is tuned in such a manner to belt out a peak torque of 221Nm @ just 2750 RPM. The Rocket X generates amazing acceleration while riding in any gear at any revolutions. The chassis of the motorcycle, accompanied with mid-mounted pegs and upright riding position, is designed in a pretty different manner. The riding quality has been taken care by controllable and adjustable rear suspension, which suits just perfectly for the long distance rides.

Triumph Rocket X At EICMA 2014

Projecting lights over the centerpieces of the Triumph Rocket X, it has received a new paint job. Excluding the engine, exhaust tail and other shiny parts, the complete motorcycle is treated with a finished black color. The exhaust tail, rear view mirrors and handlebars gets chrome black color. The paint job of the motorcycle is a four-day procedure, in order to acquire the unconventional graphics. The grinded paint scheme with high-gloss custom paint is more than enough to catch and hold your eyes over the motorcycle.

Triumph Rocket X

The Triumph Rocket X will be offered carrying an unlimited mileage and two year factory warranty. The Rocket X will be available at the price of £14,799 and will go on sale in the spring season of the coming year, 2015.
