Triumph Wrapped Off the Tiger Explorer XC Special Edition

A Special edition motorcycle was introduced by the British motorcycle manufacturer in the special month of the year. The Triumph Motorcycles has recently revealed the all new version of the Triumph Tiger Explorer XC, which is titled as "Triumph Tiger Explorer XC Special Edition". The newly introduced motorcycle carries a whole new impression as compared to the base version. Being a special edition motorcycle, the Tiger Explorer XC SE will be running in a limited number of 50 units in the global market for sale. The Enduro-Tourer motorcycle has gone through only some of the cosmetic changes, retaining the very same technical specifications.

Talking about the Triumph Tiger Explorer XC SE, the firm says, "Powered by Triumph’s award-winning 137hp three-cylinder power unit, the special edition Explorer delivers class-leading performance and high-specification as standard. Alongside intelligent ride-by-wire throttle control, each bike features cruise control, switchable ABS and full rider traction control. Elsewhere, the Explorer has undergone a number of eye-catching cosmetic changes. From painted pannier lids, mounts, footrest hangers and fog light surround to blacked-out grab handles and handlebars, the XC SE gives the world’s most courageous riders a class-leading bike to travel the world on."

The Triumph Tiger Explorer XC Special Edition is powered by a three-cylinder motor carrying an engine displacement of 1215cc. The liquid-cooled engine is tuned to churn out a burning of 135 BHP and achieves a peak torque of 121 Nm. The Enduro-Tourer motorcycle will be coming loaded with various cosmetic upgrades and modifications. Starting from the front, it receives a headlight protector, taller screen, radiator guards and CNC machined foot rests. To give you a feel of tourer motorcycle, it is equipped with tank pads on side panels, a roll-bag, a sat-nav and mount as standard. The manufacturer will also be offering a set of Continental TKC 80 dual-purpose tyres.

The Special Edition Triumph Tiger Explorer XC will be making its availability in the United Kingdom market by the starting of April, 2015. The motorcycle will be offered in a Matt blazing Orange or Matt blazing Black paint scheme, carrying a price tag of 13,999 GBP (approx Rs 13.38 Lacs).
