TVS Motor Company has achieved an astonishing milestone of one lakh TVS Victor units sales, just in span of nine month since its launch in the country.
Basically, renowned for its racing oriented naked runner, TVS Apache RTR series, the company was struggling from a long time in the commuter segment. That make the brand to bring its star player back, the Victor in the Indian auto-major after a long gap of eight years. This step has turned out a clever one, as the company manages to conquer around 8% market share with these one lakh units sales in the domestic market.

As we all know, the commuter segment plays a vital role for any manufacturer to generate volumes and decides company’s future in the market. And these amazing figures are generating positive vibes for the chennai based giant, as they are hoping to capture 10-12% market share in the coming two years with the same tourer.
A keen look over the TVS Victor sales clearly denotes an uplift in sales. Interestingly, it has got a highest reach of 19,323 units in August, very close to the company’s targeted 20,000 units monthly sale.

On mechanicals, the motorcycle is loaded with a 3-valve Eco thrust engine. With the mated four speed transmission, the motor propels out 9.6 PS of power at 8000 rpm and 9.4 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. Tagged with the price sticker of Rs 49,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Victor locks its horns with the likes of Hero Passion Xpro, Honda Dream series and the Mahindra Gusto.
