UM Motorcycles Launches 2017 Renegade Commando EFI and Sports S EFI, Get Fuel Injected BS-IV Engine

UM International partnered with Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, Lohia Auto, had landed to the country shores with its three models under Renegade moniker at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The two models, Renegade Commando and the Renegade Sports S, which are already available to buy in the Indian motoring Industry, has received BS-IV engine update along with fuel Injection system application for the 2017 calendar year. While, the third and the range-topping variant, the Renegade Classic which in advance have fuel injection fitment, hasn’t launched yet.

UM Renegade Commado

The cruiser style motorcycles 2017 Renegade Commando EFI and Renegade Sports S EFI, both are loaded with a 280cc, single-cylinder, and liquid cooled engine. The newly added fuel Injection system in vehicles helps in producing more power and torque by 1.2PS than the last generation models. Mated to a six-speed gearbox transmission, both the motorcycles use the churn power and torque, 26.36PS at 8,500rpm and 23Nm at 7,000rpm respectively. Other than this, the new fuel-injected engines are now BS-IV emission norms compliant and will support in providing refined throttle response and easy engine start in chilly weather. If have eyes on bikes’ noteworthy bits, weighing 172kgs, both the Renegade motorcycles have a massive fuel tank of 18 liters capacity, mobile charging point and service alert maintenance as standard fitment.

UM Renegade Sports S

At the launch event, Mr. Rajeev Mishra, CEO, UM Lohia Two Wheelers Pvt. Ltd, said, “We are happy to announce that following the implementation of BS-IV pollution norms in India, both Renegade Commando EFI, and Renegade Sports S EFI fully comply with the stringent pollution norms. Our bikes will now come equipped with fuel injection engines that shall produce extra power for an increased riding pleasure.”

The BS-III Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S, which were sold at the price of Rs 1,64,000 and Rs 1,57,000 respectively. The next generation models of the same with enhanced fuel injected BS-IV engine will set you back at the price stickers of Rs 1,73,917 and Rs 1,66,280 respectively. All the mentioned prices are applicable at authorized Delhi dealerships. Moreover, the customers will also be availed with the 24x7 Roadside Assistance Programme (RSA) from the time bike get delivered to you and that too free of cost.
