US Embassy Supports the Odd Even Policy in Delhi

Amidst all the hullabaloo going on in Delhi owing to the Odd Even Policy that is at the verge of turning into reality, finally a positive reaction has been received in favour of the law. As per some fresh reports, the US Embassy has come out saying that it will surely abide by the new law. Despite the law being exempted for certain diplomatic number plates, the Embassy is ready to make adjustments in order to follow the odd even rule. On behalf of all the employees, the Embassy as stated that they will be carpooling and using public transport.

Even the Chief Minister himself had stated in his public message that he will also follow the rules so as to set an example to be followed by the citizens. Even though the policy is meant to be rolled out for just 15 days, people are getting utterly annoyed at the announcement. It's a big question as to how will it be put to practice with so many vehicles being driven on the roads. Although the government has declared to make other alternatives available and increase the frequency of Metro, yet it seems to be a vague notion.
