Volvo Dealers Started Accepting Orders for New XC90

Launch of the latest Volvo XC90 has been scheduled around April, while its dealers have already started taking orders afore of making the public demonstration in India. Customers can reserve their model by paying the amount of INR 10 Lacs and the delivery will be commenced from sometime in July. It has been revealed that total 20 units top end variants are likely to be imported, beforehand 11 units have been reserved among them. Based on the new Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA), this upcoming compact SUV is 4,950 in length, 1,923 mm in width and 1,776 mm in height rendering a gigantic visual perspective for everyone.

Now coming to its interior components, the premium trims get an orrefors designed gearlever, voice recognition, four zone climate control, powered seats, a high end music system and a Tesla Model S inspired touchscreen display comes alongside a Google Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Hence, the passengers would relish an enjoyable as well as comfortable journey. Powertrain comes from a 1,969 cc inline four cylinder twin turbocharged diesel engine producing a stunning power of 225 bhp at 4,250 rpm and torque of 470 Nm.

The mill will be coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission system that will transfer the power to its all four wheels. After making an appearance in the Indian automobile market between the range of INR 85-95 Lacs, the Volvo XC90 will rival against Audi Q7, BMW X5, Mercedes GL and Land Rover Discovery.
