Yamaha FZ V/S Pulsar 150; What made them Generation Rulers?

After the launch of Yamaha FZ, the company did enjoy strong sales and emblem of becoming only company to sale a naked street fighter in India. Before its launch, the market was captured by the male personality Bajaj Pulsar, and it was going through the best time of its existence. Both the bikes were capable enough, but the FZ was few steps ahead with great torque and power generation proficiencies. That time and the current time are not the same as the Pulsar is the showstopper any more. The new generation bikes have taken over it in styling concern. But this doesn’t mean that the “male” has lost its value. Buying a pulsar will still get you best out of your each penny and hence, the roads are surrounded with the roaring boost of its voice.

Yamaha FZ:

Yamaha FZ was launched back in the year 2008, when the category bearing such bikes was a new thing to Indians, and the magic of the same worked here efficiently. Purchasing this bike was a costly affair during that time and it was negotiating it with the fuel efficiency as well. The only things which it was delivering were performance and quality. The fattest fat rear tyre, 153cc engine and puffed tank were the key factors to enhance the character and they also helped the company for having courage to launch two more variants of the same with better looks (FZ-S and Fazer). Now, the Yamaha has launched the revised versions of these bikes this year with slightly less on thirst but same on performance boasting a 149cc engine with fuel injection to develop 13.1PS of power with 12.8Nm of torque.

Bajaj Pulsar:

The Pulsar on the other hand has a traditional flavor with decade old robust personality. There would hardly be any person with 18+ of age in India who has not ridden this bike. Most of the folks have chosen it as their first bike and also exchanged the same to get its latest version. The NS version of the same was a huge hit and recorded good sales as well. The very first pulsar had 150cc, 13HP engine with single spark plug. The current generation of the same has got 15.2BHP with double spark plug and soon it will receive triple spark technology as well. The Pulsar 200NS was a complete makeover and has acquired a huge share of fans for itself. But, it is for sure that people riding this bike won’t move to some other thing except its own latest version.
