Yamaha Motor India has launched the 2017 BS-IV upgraded model of its retro styled scooter, the Fascino in the country at INR 56,500 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Besides BS-IV engine, the observed changes in scooter includes addition of an Auto Headlamp On(AHO) feature along with new colour options.
The company has introduced four new dual tone paint schemes with attractive decals decoration. Moreover, the Yamaha Fascino has got blacked out treatment on its front face panel, alloy wheels, front forks and grab rail.
Purposely built for female riders, the 2017 Fascino gets a 113cc single-cylinder engine which has been tuned to comply upcoming BS-IV emission norms. The bolted mill is rated to produce maximum power of 7bhp and delivers peak torque of 8Nm via a mated CVT transmission.
Offered in six colour options, which are newly added blue/black, red/black, white/black, cyan/black and already available white and cyan shade, the new Fascino will go in competition with the contenders in the segment such as the Honda Activa 4G, Hero Maestro Edge and the TVS Jupiter.
