Leica will Introduce 100mm Lenses for S System Medium Format Series

Leica is a brand known for its medium format cameras. In a recent exposure, the company is found to be off the peg to launch a new series for the S system of medium format cameras. The system alleged here meant for new lenses is the professional series with a fast aperture speed of f/2. These lenses are termed as Summicron-S 100mm. This lens can grab pictures in a very sophisticated manner and generate photos with very high clarity and resolution. The Leica already has some lenses for the same purpose but with different sizes of 80mm and 120mm. The new visitant will serve to bridge the rift. The company had recently introduced a rangefinder camera with great Ram buffer and speed.

Medium format cameras, in earlier times, were using the films for still photography.  In digital photography, these types of cameras mostly use bigger sensors, which produce images larger than a 35 mm film frame. The Summicron-S 100mm can snap the shots with a diagonal inclination of 29 degrees in assistance with Leica pro format sensor. The whole assembly weighs 910 grams and measures 102x90 mm without hood.
