Nokia Ozo:Virtual Reality Camera for Professionals

Nokia was the king of mobile phones years ago. But with the changing trend, demand of users changed and hence the top ranker too. Nokia was recently acquired by Microsoft as it was losing its market. Recently, Nokia was praised for launching Nokia N1 tablet. To show its presence in the tech market, Nokia again came out with a new product. But this time its a 360 degree camera. The camera has given a name "Ozo". With this, the company put its first step ahead in virtual reality.

When compared with other competitor products from GoPro and Samsung, this camera is a distinct one. Instead of a single focused camera, it is built in a sphere like device with eight image sensors embedded over it. The device is capable to stir the footage with equal number of microphones present on the camera ball.As it is a spherical camera device, it is obvious that it will give videos in real-time. Users can view the real-time videos using a VR-handset. But interestingly, Nokia has mentioned it a profession oriented launch. Ozo is manufactured majorly for professional content creators.

Nokia also stated that the complete Specifications will be disclosed later and its shipments are expected to begin during Q4 2015. But even before its complete announcement, One studio, Jaunt Inc., have already booked Ozo for their use.
